App Inventor is an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows children to build fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets by MIT Media Lab. Block based coding programs inspire intellectual and creative empowerment which helps in creating complex, high impact apps.
MIT App Inventor goes beyond this to provide real empowerment for students to make a difference to add value to their communities. This course engages students, is project based, and encourages collaboration and creativity.
Course curriculum:
- Own mobile app in both Android and iOS
- Experience with both drag & drop
- Certificate at the end of the course
